Refund Policy for KF Orion Tech & Build
This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for projects and services delivered by KF Orion Tech & Build through kforion.pk.
1. Nature of Our Services
KF Orion Tech & Build provides custom, service-based work such as web and system development, infrastructure setup, managed IT, and performance services. Each engagement is tailored to a specific client and requirement, and a significant amount of planning, design, and execution begins soon after confirmation.
2. General Refund Principle
Because our work is customised and time-based, all confirmed retainers, advances, and milestone payments are generally non-refundable.
3. Project Booking & Advance Payments
- Advance/booking payments secure project slots, allocate team capacity, and initiate planning work.
- Once an advance has been paid and work has started, it cannot be refunded.
4. Milestone-Based Work
Many projects are billed on milestones (e.g., discovery, design, development, deployment).
- On completion of a milestone, the corresponding invoice is due and payable.
- If you cancel a project mid-way, you remain responsible for payment of all completed milestones and work in progress up to the cancellation date.
5. Change of Scope or Direction
Changes in project scope, business direction, or internal priorities do not qualify for a refund. However, we can discuss:
- Re-prioritising remaining work
- Creating a new proposal that builds on completed deliverables
6. Quality Concerns & Issue Resolution
If you have concerns about quality or delivery, please raise them early. Our first approach is to clarify requirements, fix issues, and iterate within scope.
At our discretion, we may offer:
- Additional iterations or bug-fixes
- Service credits for future projects
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following costs are always non-refundable:
- Third-party licences (plugins, SaaS tools, themes, APIs)
- Domain registrations or renewals
- Hosting, cloud, or infrastructure charges
- Advertising spend (Google, Meta, or other platforms)
8. Managed Services & Retainers
Retainers (support/maintenance/IT) are billed in advance (monthly/quarterly/annual).
- Fees paid for an active cycle are non-refundable.
- You may request cancellation for the next billing cycle per your agreement.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
KF Orion Tech & Build may, at its discretion, grant partial refunds or credits in rare or exceptional circumstances.
